Dear participants DEICy 2024,
The Digital Economy Lab University of Warsaw has the pleasure of supporting MIDI 2024 Conference - Machine Intelligence and Digital Interaction (Virtual Event).
12th Machine Intelligence and Digital Interaction
MIDI 2024 Conference
12.12.2024
(Organised as Virtual Event)
MIDI 2024 Conference is coming back in December! We have prepared a new formula of our conference for you.
Since 2013, MIDI International Conference provides a global forum for presenting innovative design tools, methodologies, solutions and novel approaches for integrating people and intelligent interactive technologies. In 2024 the MIDI Conference will be organised as a stationary event in Warsaw, Poland. We kindly invite you to participate in this event. We will provide more information in further correspondence.
The conference will be available free of charge, both for presenting and non-presenting authors. Also the proceedings of the MIDI Conference will be published in cooperation with Springer in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems Series.
Authors are invited to submit their papers via MIDI website, from June 10, 2024. After acceptance by the reviewers, the authors will be asked to prepare a presentation.
As in previous years two of the most interesting papers will be granted Best Paper Award of 500 EUR. The authors of the awarded papers will be asked to give a presentation during the stationary MIDI Conference (presence stationary or remotely).
MIDI Conference goals
The MIDI is focused on the issues of artificial intelligence seen from the human perspective, regardless of whether the human is perceived here as its potential user or creator. Since 2020 the scope of MIDI Conference has been extended to interactions between humans and "smart" systems based on various types of machine intelligence.
We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that a new conference website has been launched, where, as the preparations progress, information will appear, including technical details of the conference.

Paper submission, publication and indexation
Authors are invited to submit papers through the conference website from 10 June to 10 October 2024. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three independent referees from the MIDI Programme Committee. All submissions should be done through the MIDI submission website.
Papers sent to the conference should be 6-8 pages long (in LNCS format) and accepted papers will be presented as 5-10 min. video presentations.
Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference.
Conference Proceedings will be published in cooperation with Springer in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems Series. The books of this series are indexed by SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago and books published in the series are submitted for consideration in Web of Science.
All accepted papers will be published.
The proceedings will be published around June 2025.
